Reggie’s Red Hot Feetwarmers have been together for over 20 years as a performing unit in New York State’s Capital District. Originally formed as an offshoot, part-time project of Doc Scanlon, the traditional New Orleans sound of the band took off when it began to perform at the famed Saratoga, NY Racetrack. Since then, The Feetwarmers have become well-known regulars at the famed Racetrack during its’ Summer season and a constant presence in the Upstate New York music scene.
Harkening back to the sounds of the 20’s and 30’s, Reggie’s Red Hot Feetwarmers pump out an infectious, all-acoustic, totally unplugged brand of jumping’ jazz including banjo, trombone, trumpet and slap bass. Their repertoire is a romp through some of the best tunes of the Classic Jazz era. Like Hershey’s for chocolate or Mack for trucks, you can count on the Feetwarmers for sweet and saucy tributary sounds.
